  1. What is it ? Jesus Jam is an annual event that will give us an opportunity to do something extraordinary for the youth of Cherokee and surrounding counties. This diverse event will be one where young people can come together and praise GOD in a safe, positive atmosphere. This event will have a featured Christian artist and spotlight local Christian talent. JESUS JAM JESUS JAM 2009

  2. WHY ? One of the main statements of individuals interviewed in the Gaffney Ledger is, “What Gaffney needs is something for the youth to participate in.” Jesus Jam is the brainchild of Antioch Baptist Church of Gaffney Inc., and will provide an annual answer to this community issue. JESUS JAM 2009

Jesus Jam will enable us to minister Jesus Christ and his principles in a fun way, Providing us the chance to also partner with local, private, and community organizations that can provide necessary information and resources to help address important teen issues such as Teen pregnancy, Sexual Abuse, Drug Addiction, and Literacy to name a few. JESUS JAM 2009

  4. Who will be involved ? • Churches • Civic Organizations • Parents • Schools • Law Enforcement • Youth Ministries • Local Businesses • Broadcasters • Newspapers JESUS JAM 2009

We will promote this event in local newspapers, radio, and television. • Businesses will be asked to donate goods and services for this event. • Our desire is to promote local businesses. • Churches will be asked to help with promotions, advertizing, and to volunteer manpower for the event. • Organizations will be asked to donate brochures and resource information addressing important teen issues.
