  2. Do Now • Read the handout on your desk • Answer questions on the front and back of this worksheet • We will go over them after you are finished reading • Please work quietly! You have 15 minutes to work on this, I will set the timer…. GO • After this we will make a foldable, you will need 10 index cards and 1 piece of construction paper.

Foldable • I am going to show you how to fold the piece of paper I am about to give you. • 4 folds total—watch carefully  • I need you to label it just like mine and when you are finished I will show you how to fill it in! • This foldable will be a quick review guide to what you have to review • Note: this is a guide-meaning you still have to study all of your notes on these topics! 

  5. Measuring Up! • Practice with Writing Organization and Consistency (W 1.6) • This is one of the more difficult standards on the Benchmark and the CST! • Page 190-194 • We will do both practice exercises to master this standard! 

  6. Practice Quiz- #1 • I am going to give you 15 minutes to complete a practice test. Do the best that you can! • We will check it together when finished  OR • Complete for Homework tonight and we will check answers at our next class meeting,.
