What is adopt award? • Key Wards that can swing an election • Understanding who lives there and how is We Are Wisconsin in relationship with the people. • Consistent Data Tracking • Building One/One Relationships • Leadership Development and Ownership • Relational Voter Program to map the voters

  3. Where to Start? • Identifying which wards are critical to changing the make up of your district. Local Level? County Board Level? State Assembly Level? State Senate Level? • Overall impact on the statewide elections. • Identifying who you know (through membership, existing relationships, or RVP) that can be organized into a Leadership Team. • Deliberate, intentional ways to engage voters (ID, persuasion, issue education, neighborhood meetings) • Consistent DATA storage tracked in the voter file.

How Do you Start? • Work with We Are WI to acquire the targeted wards. • Leadership meeting to map relationships and create a structure in which to operate. • Create a program to engage voters (through election, through issues, through house visits or phone calls) • Ongoing meeting to track progress. • Ongoing data entry as information is gathered. • Ongoing engagement to move the voters until 52% support is achieved.
