  4. At night tigers hunt alone. • They prey on small animals and try to avoid big animals and people. • A tiger crouches in the grass to watch its prey then they attack it and grab its neck. Hunting

  5. Tigers come together to mate. • About three months later, the female tiger has about three cubs. • She watches after her cubs about two years and teaches them to hunt. mating

  6. People move into places where tigers live and hunt tigers for sport and fur. • Many countries have laws to protect tigers. Why are tigers endangered?
