Size • Smallest Tiger of their kind. • Males weigh up to 300 lbs • Up to 8 ft. Long
Habitat • Live on Indonesian Island of Sumatra (Sumatra is the world’s sixth largest island) • Lowlands, Montane forests, grasslands, Sundalandrivers and swamps

What’s being done to help • The WWF has created the National Park, Tessa Nilo, to protect this kind of species. • Provided a synthetic wild type life. • “We have set a bold but achievable goal of Tx2: doubling the number of tigers in the wild by 2022, when the next Year of the Tiger is celebrated.”
What I can do to help • A way we could help protect this animal is by having a bake sale, at the school socials and other school functions to raise money. After we get enough money then we can adopt a tiger from WWF, with are parents help to fill out all the online info. Then we will have bake sales once a month and keep on donating to WWF.
Fun Facts • Live usually 10 years in wild and twice as long in Zoo. • Can eat 100 lbs. of meat • Brightest eyes then any animal • Tiger roar can be heard farther then a mile away • Can see color and better then humans in darkness.
