  6. Uses • It is used to manufacture steel and alloys. • If chromium is added iron it is used to improve durability and prevent rust. • Found in the hemoglobin molecule, in a human. • It is used to transport oxygen to red blood cells in plants and animals.

The creator of the periodic table was Dmitri Mendeleev. Mendeleev had left some black spaces in the periodic table because he knew that there were other elements but he hadn’t discovered them.
