2. Snapshot of our Work YES Network Pakistan has pioneered the concepts of Youth Service, Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Service Learning in the country. We provide an an effective mechanism to youth to re-integrate into the society as active-citizens and not as citizens-in-waiting.

The Twin Opportunities Sector Development Needs Untapped Potential • Education: 55% of the total population is unable to read an write. 30 million children are out of school. • Health: 30 thousand women die every year form pregnancy related complications • Poverty: 34% of the total population is living below the poverty line. • Sanitation: 50 million people have no access to sanitation facilities. • There is a youthquake in Pakistan, as 70% of the total population is under the age of 29. • There are no separated programs or policies for disadvantaged, half-educated, socially-excluded youth in Pakistan. • Enormous talent, intelligence and positive energy are being wasted as these young people are being left behind. • Millions of young people are growing up without any hope and desire in life and are falling into disaster’s way. Imagine if we could solve both of these problems at once?

6. Our Methodologies Over 75 Youth-led Social Enterprises are in operation. Over 200 Youth-led Service Projects are launched.

8. Youth Service Program It is an intensive engagement of young people in organized activity that contributes to the community development. Over 75 community-based youth-led micro social enterprises are in operation in rural areas of Pakistan.

11. Youth Social Entrepreneurship Program Over 600 Representatives of Technical Institutions Are Sensitized on the Topic of Youth Social Entrepreneurship in-partnership with British Council 20 Technical Institutions provided Trainings and Seed Funding For Innovative Youth –Led Service Projects
