Established 1893. • Staff of 55 employees, 14 in the office and 41 in the production. • Serves 80 000 people in the city of Kristianstad. The population increase to 100 000 people during the summer. • Collects approximately 40 000 ton of household waste every year. Fees for household waste • All costs coverd by waste fees for household waste • Fees are divided into a regulary and a mobile fee - Regulary fees - Recycling centers (22 %) - Administration, invoicing, development, office etc. (19 %) - Mobile fees - Collection (39 %) - Treatment (20 %) • Fees head for a increased sorting of organic waste and packages and a better working environment • Four different of client categories - Single family house - Holiday house - Block of flat - Business Part-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund)
