  2. Golden Day 12-Orbit Proxy Datasets Datasets 1 – 3 are for September 6, 2002 Golden Day Datasets 4 – 6 are for January 25, 2003 Golden Day

Platinum 72 Dataset—Data Contents • For the 72-hour dataset, existing Golden Day proxy datasets were utilized to produce the data contents • 8 orbits of “quality” data, i.e., correctly geolocated data shown below in gold and yellow, are available for the science algorithm testing • 6-Orbit Dataset was generated by updating the Datasets 2 and 3 with the latest sensor characterization data • Existing Dataset 1, last updated in July 2010, was also used • Filler data in orbits 5-7 are not geolocated—not usable for science assessment • Repeating the 1-day data three times, with necessary “maneuvers” between each day, constitutes the Platinum 72-hour data 6-Orbit Dataset 3-Orbit Filler Dataset Proxy Diagnostic Dataset Proxy Dataset 1 Time Shift Filler Dataset Proxy Dataset 2 Time Shift Additional Dataset Time Shift Proxy Dataset 3 Time Shift SOE, Operational and Diag Time Shift and Space Shift Previous “Golden Day” data shown in gold 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 NPP Orbit Counter Per Day
