  1. How to Sign Up for a “My AmeriCorps Online Account” Compiled from Montana and Washington Campus Compacts

  2. Visit the AmeriCorps Homepage: www.americorps.gov Click MyAmeriCorps: Login

  3. Select: Register to Create a New Member/Alum Account

  4. Fill out the information and click on “submit”. Note: If you receive an error message contact your campus coordinator to make sure your information is entered correctly.

  5. You will be asked to set up a username and password. Once you have set up your user name and password, an email will be sent to you, confirming your enrollment in MyAmeriCorps. When you receive your confirmation email, return to the AmeriCorps website (www.americorps.gov) and log in where is says MyAmeriCorps Login:

  6. Log into your account.

  7. Once you are logged in check to make sure all your personal information is correct. You can correct it by selecting Edit My Contact Information.

  8. Update your information: Note:In order to correct your name, birth date, or social security number, you will need to contact the National Service Trust at 1-888-507-5962 for assistance.

  9. Primary Functions of your “My AmeriCorps Online Account”: • Make an Education Award Payment to a Title IV institution. • Create a Loan Forbearance request. • Create an Interest Accrual request. • Print Tax document 1099 for end-of-year tax statement.
