  7. Pakistan Navy Rescue Efforts • Rescue mission from the Swat Valley to the Arabian Sea • Almost a quarter million people rescued • More than 2,000 Naval personnel served in the Rescue Operation

Model Village for Flood Affectees • Targeted to those who have been totally devastated and have nothing to return to • Adobe Brick Homes • Low cost, yet able to provide shelter from hot / cold weather and rain • Cost of One Model Village = Rs 6m approx. • Cost of One Permanent Shelter = Rs 60,000/-
