  2. Our Robot

  3. Drive Train • Our drive train is constructed as it was because of chain • The chains lost energy and it couldn’t gear easily • Also, the 2-to-1 ratio helps with torque

  4. Arm • Our arm is similar to ours last years • It has a 9-t0-1 ratio • It can hang 99% of the time • It folds backwards to get blocks in the basket

  5. Hanging • Our hanging percentage is 99% • Our 9-to-1 gearing supports it effectively

  6. Flag Turner • Our flag turner is a motor connected to a bent piece of metal • Our first design raised in less than 2 seconds

  7. Autonomous • Our autonomous program will go from 1 place, dump the block, and go on the ramp • We also have 2 other programs, 1 for just the ramp, and 1 for just the IR goal

  8. Hand • Our hand can hold up to 5 blocks, but that is a penalty, so prefer not to. • It is 3d printed, made in 3ds Max.

  9. Our Programming

  10. Our code • We used ROBOTC as a platform for our code • We have 3 autonomous, 1 teleop, and 1 common file with widely used commands

  11. Version Control • We used something new this year called version control • We used BitBucket as a file server, and Source tree as our GUI • To learn more about version control, click here.
