Navigate M-Pathways the Way YOU Want Using the Navigator Tool to Define Specific Processing Steps Marissa Bass-Stroud B. Lynn Pruitt
Office of Undergraduate Admissions • Fall 07 numbers completed • Web application for last five years • Seasonal Staff
Problems faced by our office • Increased applications over the years • High staff turnover • Increased amount of information to be entered from the application (first phase) • Increase in the amount of training • Early Response
Pre Navigation • Favorites • Mental Lists • Lists taped to computers • Skipped steps – information missed • Time consuming
Benefits of Navigation • Pages can be arranged to match work flow • Easier to train with high turnover • Assured pages are not being missed and all information is entered • Saves time • Can be used on any People Soft page
Click on first box to start Will take you into that page
Once you are in the page, you can access the rest of the Navigator through links on the side.
You may have as many Navigators as you need. We have two for our two distinct processes-1st Phase and 2nd Phase.
Each Navigator can contain different pages than other navigators. They can also contain the same pages, but have them placed in a different order.
Customization • Ability to create numerous navigators • Can add or delete pages as needed • Can order pages to match different work flows
