Central HungaryRegional Development Council • Established by the Hungarian Parliament's Act XCII of 1999 • Authority: administration area of Budapest & Pest County • The Council has 18 voting members • Chairman: Mr. Lajos Szűcs
Main Tasks of the Council • Examines and evaluates the region’s economic and social position • Elaborates and approves the region’s regional development concept, and operative programmes • Organises the implementation of these programmes • Co-ordinates development efforts
