Caveats about over-interpreting Validator results • Validator results must be taken in context. • Validator is not calibrated against SPSS scheduling, particularly against 2-gyro. • E.g.: • Degree of reliance upon SAA-friendly scheduling in SPSS is unknown, • Efficiency of SAA-free usage is unknown, • SPIKE has no knowledge of MAG-field slew issues, • No slew constraint in SPIKE, • Some SPIKE-SPSS orbital viewing issues are known.
Validation at free=5/hider=4 These validation levels leave an orbit/day in the average free limits for the unplanned. No “margin” for saa-hiding. Should be taken in context of planning process and other validation runs.
