Frame Site Power Point By: Mike Hebert
Objectives • Make A Frame Website Using The Frame Template From Dreamweaver • The Site Must Be About A Sport Or Club (Information Must Be Accurate To South Portland High School Or Club!) • Site Must Include 5 Pictures, 5 Links (Self Created Pages), And A Different Font/Text From Default
Objectives (Continued) • Print out the first page as seen in a browser. Also print out the main frame index as HTML. Pass everything in with this coversheet on top. • Be aware of your links & make sure they open in the right frame!!
Dreamweaver Interface This is the New Document menu on Dreamweaver, where you can decide what webpage your going to make. Here we select Framesets and pick the Frameset that would best fit our website.
Dreamweaver Interface This is the Frameset Window and as you can see there is a list of Framesets that we can choose from for the layout of our site.
Dreamweaver Interface Here is an example of a finished Frame Site. I chose the Fixed Left, Nested Top template.
Dreamweaver Interface Here is an another example of a finished Frame Site. Again we see the Fixed Left, Nested Top template.
TBody- Tells Dreamweaver how long, and wide to make the Body of the Table, and also Controls the padding and spacing of the table. TR and TD control the width and length of a certain cell in the table. Dreamweaver Codes Try exploring with different tags/codes to see how they effect not only the table but the site itself, as well. Also a good way to identify a(n) unknown tag would be to visit a website such as http://www.willcam.com/cmat/html/crossref.htmlwhere is gives a brief definition of each tag and what it does!
