Firstly click on the By using the mouse of your PC press the button. Change the zoom to 50% Left click your mouse and dragging down to highlight the whole block diagram and wires. The PV input channel(double click on function block) type is set to Volts, • linearisation is linear and the units are %. Set as ‘Hot Swap’ then wire as shown, to remove the old wire from the IO.PV • click on the wire and delete it. The wire will be greyed out. Then wire the PV to the In1 of the • Maths2 block.

The segment information will now be displayed iTools Workshop - editing a programmer 2 Create a Rate segment, holdback may also be specifically configured for this segment. Now add a Dwell segment and a Rate segment. NOTE: -All programs contain an implied end segment of dwell. If a reset end segment is required an end segment must be specifically inserted.
To change the program names edit using the program name field Each segment contains 8 event outputs, these may be configured using the event out section of the segment editor. And may be viewed using the digital profile view iTools Workshop - editing a programmer 3 You should now have a simple ramp dwell profile with a reset end segment similar to the one shown below.
The event outputs may also be edited at this point by pressing iTools Workshop - digital output profile view The 3500 programmer model supports segment types of; End – Dwell End segment Time – time to target segment Rate – Ramp rate segment Dwell – Dwell at given setpoint Step – Step to given setpoint Call – Call out to another program. NOTE:-A program may be any combination of time and rate segments.
