Overview of Work Performed • Regular exchange via phone conference and other tools • JRA7 Meeting in Munich October 1-2 2012 • Bilateral meetings • TUM-Oslo, Lancaster-Passau • Discussion of research problems • Technology Developments / Projects • Smart Energy as driving factor • Non-ICT / ICT interactions WP7 Internet as Critical Infrastructure

Achievements • Reference scenarios • Smartgrid, Automation and Control Systems • First steps in Internet Science teaching • Seminar at TUM, study program at UoP • Established contacts with non-EINS partners • From sociology, philosophy, industry, domain experts, ICT • Open Call Proposal with some of them WP7 Internet as Critical Infrastructure

Conclusions • Joint activities between JRA7 members • Outreach to other JRAs and non-EINS members • Interdisciplinary interactions that otherwise would not have occurred, yet should occur more often. • Goal to make deliverables and outcome of JRA7 useful for a broader audience.
