  3. Pre-reading 1.Do you believe that “Chinese students are the most hardworking in the world”? And why? 2. What’s your opinion about using calculators in mathematics exams? 3. Would you agree to explain the answers of your mathematics test on the exam paper?

  4. While reading 1. Please read the passage quickly and fill in the blanks with the information you find. As we all know, Chinese students are famous in the world for their spirit. But for the writer, his good could not help him to pass the mathematics test in New Zealand. Why?
