  3. IMAGE 2 Normal glomerulus

  4. IMAGE 3 Post-infectious glomerulonephritis • EM contains subepithelial humps

  5. IMAGE 4 Rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis • Look for the crescent scar around the glomerulus

  6. IMAGE 5 Membranous glomerulonephritis • Glomerular capillary walls are diffusely thickened • Thickened walls are often a result of immune complex deposition

  7. IMAGES 6 and 7 Minimal change disease • Appears normal on LM • EM:podocyte shortening and thinning (effacement); nil deposits
