  6. What can you do? Give children books they can treasure and read again and again.

  7. The first step in literacy is reading books to children.

  8. Bring the joy of books to a kindergartener in San Marcos!

  9. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE OR WHEN... ...it matters that our children have regular, positive exposure to the joys of reading!

  10. Young children who regularly enjoy books are more likely to become strong readers.

  11. Remember how you felt discovering the joy of reading? Bring that joy to a child by donating!

  12. Children who learn to love reading are more likely  to succeed academically!
