1. CHEAT SHEET Effort report inventory of what ECFs were generated and where they got directed Accountability: Orphan Cleanup Effort Certification Form Control Log • Monitoring • Central: Effort Certification Team will identify orphans through the Insight Hierarchy Maintenance Page • Departments: Dept Administrators and Effort Managers will monitor for investigators they should receive ECFs for via the Hierarchy Maintenance Page and/or Control Log • Resolution • Central: Effort Certification Team will first try to resolve orphans by associating them with the Chief of Service Code tied to the fund they are committed to; any orphans that are not able to be resolved will be forwarded to the Institutional Research Administrators for resolution • Department: Dept Administrators and Effort Managers will maintain their ECF hierarchy tree via the Insight Hierarchy Maintenance Page (add/reassign/remove investigators) • Institution: Institutional Research Administrator will make efforts to identify the correct Chief of Service for orphans
