Electronics 1(BMEVIHIA205)for the students of the 2nd year B.Sc. course at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics(Specialisation: Electrical Engineering)Semester 4 Requirements
Preliminary studies (prerequisites) Recommended are the subjectsSignals and Systems 1 and 2. Theory (lectures) and practice (seminars) No declared separation of these two kinds of teaching will be made. A theoretical part will be followed by a problem solving part as it fits the best way and only the ratio of these parts will correspond to the prescribed 3 hours to 2 hours ratio of the weekly hours.
Mid–Term–Tests (MTT’s) • There will be two MTT’s(intended on weeks 6 and 10). • Both should be performed at least at thelevel of pass (having achieved at least40% of all points) to get the signature. The results of the MTT’s do not effect the final grade. • Without the signature it is not possible to participate on the final exam. • Repetition of both MTT’s on the repetition weekat one occasion: 19-23 May 2014.
Final Exam • There will be three occasions during the examination period from 26 of May to 23 of June : • 1. Regular exam. • 2. Repetition exam. • 3. Repetition exam with the Dean’s permission. • Dates of the examinations will be determined later.
Final Exam (continued) • The final exam is a written one. • Grading (supposing that the maximum available number of points is 100) • 0-39 points: fail /1/; • 40-53 points: pass /2/; • 54-67 points: satisfactory /3/; • 68-81points: good /4/; • 82-100 points: excellent /5/.
