Clownfish • Clownfish are fish from the subfamily Amphiprioninae in the Pomacentridae family. • They are mostly yellow, orange, red or black, and show white bars. • Most come from the warm waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. • Clownfish are omnivores.
Puffer Fish • Puffers use the pectoral, dorsal, anal, and caudal fins for movement that make them highly movable but very slow. • As a defense, puffers have the ability to inflate quickly, until they are almost spherical in shape. So, predator stalking the puffers may suddenly face what seems to be a much larger fish and pause, giving the puffers an opportunity to run.
Sting Ray • Common in Tropical coastal waters. • The stinger may reach a length of approximately 35 cm. • Some have several stingers and a few, don’t have one.
Coral Reef • Coral reefs are aragonite structures produced by living animal colonies. • Form some of the most diverse ecosystems on earth. • Estimated to cover one percent of the area occupied by the world oceans.
