Steps Taken • Formed informal working group • Gathered information from tribal programs of the Nation on what they are doing. • Talked with individual basket weavers • Had conversations with elders from various parts of the Nation • Discussed with EPA about assistance.
Next Steps • Continue to gather oral information and documents pertaining to the Nation. • Meet with stakeholders about participating in a pilot project. • Select three sites to start pilot projects. • Do site assessment with EPA and other interested agencies.
