  1. Valentine's Day

  2. Lovers day at 14th February. The name is derived from St. Valentine. The main custom is sending letters with love poems and giving little gifts to somebody special. In Great Britain and USA St. Valentine is saint patron of this day.

  3. History of this feast isn't really known to this day. All of legends have their own followers. Maybe it comes from Roman Empire custom which consists in looking for your soul mate. The British think that this feast belongs to them, because sir Walter Scott made it famous. 14th February is the day when birds onBritish Islands start mating.

  4. Example Valentine's Day Poems You’re in my thoughts and in my heart Wherever I may go; On Valentine’s Day, I’d like to say I care more than you know.

  5. Hey you- -you're often on my mind; You’re a terrific person, one of a kind. I’m sending this poem, because I want to say I’m thinking of you on Valentine’s Day!

  6. Brown-thrush singing all day long In the leaves above me, Take my love this April song, 'Love me, love me, love me!' When he harkens what you say, Bid him, lest he miss me, Leave his work or leave his play, And kiss me, kiss me, kiss me!

  7. This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First, to let go of life. In the end, to take a step without feet; to regard this world as invisible, and to disregard what appears to be the self. Heart, I said, what a gift it has been to enter this circle of lovers, to see beyond seeing itself, to reach and feel within the breast.
