Physical Description/ Weapon • Hera is described as a beautiful woman wearing a crown and holding a royal lotus-tipped staff. • This makes her different from other gods because not all gods are from a royal state or wear crowns. • Hera has no weapon but she has a pet peacock.
Domain • Hera is the goddess of marriage, child birth, empire, and kings.
Family Relationships • Hera married Zeus, who is also her twin brother. • Mother of Ares, and Hephaestus. • Hera’s siblings are Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, and Demeter.
Flaws and Crimes • Hera would sometimes be jealous of Zeus because he was so powerful. • She has an addiction to perfection. • Hera killed her son by pushing him off of Mt. Olympus.
Friends and Partners • Hera doesn’t have many friends. • People who help her out though are Zeus, and her children.
Where Would You Find Hera? • Hera would usually be found in a hospital/doctors office helping with childbirth. • Also, you may find Hera in a foster care helping with young children.
Hera’s Symbols • The Pomegranate symbolizes fertility because she was the god of childbirth. • The peacock was the symbol of immortality.
