Scenario A customer visits an electronic store to buy a new camera. The store only has prototypes on the shelves and products are stored in a warehouse on site. The business process starts where the customer enters the store and reviews the different models on display. A sales clerk approaches the customer to provide assistance and the customer selects a potential product. The sales clerk verifies that the product is in stock by typing in the model into a mobile tablet device. The tablet confirms that the item is in stock. The customer now reviews all the specifications of the camera via a video clip on the clerk’s mobile tablet device. The customer must now decide whether she selects the product or not. If she accepts the product, she will select the product on the mobile device, the clerk will press order on the mobile device and the system will select the product and order it from the warehouse and print out an order document for the customer. If the client rejects the product, the clerk will enter this on the mobile device and the system will save the information regarding the rejected product. The customer will then proceed to review other potential products. Upon acceptance, the customer will proceed to check out and present the order document for payment. Upon payment, the system will generate an invoice and the customer will present the invoice to collect the product from the checkout counter.
