Recommended School Improvement Specialist’s Responsibilities: • Collaboratively plan the seven reviews with each school improvement school • Develops the LEA Yearly CIP Monitoring Schedule and communicates it to necessary parties. • Use the CIP Work Sheet to guide school leadership teams in developing and maintaining evidence boxes and creating review forms.
Recommended School Improvement Specialist’s Responsibilities: • Compile data in relation to the implementation reviews and provide feedback to school leadership teams and the Regional School Improvement Coach. • Collaboratively plan with the RSIC school follow-up support based on the data collected during the implementation reviews. • Use the CIP Work Sheet to guide school leadership teams in developing and maintaining evidence boxes and setting up review forms.
Reminders: The LEA is responsible for: • Ensuring that schools have written and are implementing their CIP. • Making comments in the comment log after every review. • Collecting a written summary from the Principal after each review highlighting strengths, concerns, next steps, etc. • Assisting the school in next steps
Reminders: The Principal is responsible for: • Providing the SIS, LEA, and leadership team with review information • Communicating with the leadership team next-step actions • Sharing CIP review recommendations with the faculty. • implementing the CIP Review recommendations. • Making sure all amendments are made in the eCIP and communicated to the faculty and staff.
