VI . Community Interactions • A. Competition- When two organisms use a resource at the same time • B. Predation- The act of one organism consuming another for food • C. Symbiosis- permanent close associates between two or more different species
VII. Living in the environment • A. Habitat- an area where an organism lives out its life • 1. Robin in a tree • B. Niche- the ROLE that an organism has in its environment • 1. How it meets its need for food • 2. Buffalo and Cows are grazers of grass
