Portfolio Highlights • Math skill were higher than expected on the Explorer because that is one of the schools areas of weakness. • Scores from the Explorer showed that a large number of students are planning to attend college and graduate school. • Using Correlation Maps along with the Comprehensive Curriculum were very helpful to teachers.

  5. Portfolio Highlights • Test scores identified student achievement interests in the area of Science and Technology. • Sample of student work show how teachers used the correlation maps to teach lessons to students.

Project EPAS - Benefits • Provide students with tools for ongoing learning. • Help students plan further educational goals. • Engages students in planning their future. • Uses standards for transition and secondary educators to pinpoint the skills students have and those they are ready to learn next.

Project EPAS – Future Goals • Keep EPAS growing strong in the school • More students attending college (achieving the proper score on the ACT) • Increase scores on the Plan, Explore, and ACT • Increase career guidance • Decrease the number of early drop outs • Increase the turn out of productive citizens
