Segmented Worms Earthworms
Feeding They eat very small things like bacteria and fungi because they have very small mouths. They have no teeth but grains replace the teeth helping the lips break down food.
How they move Earthworms don’t move like other animals do. They don’t have legs so they move by scrunching-up and then stretching out. This process happens very slowly but they eventally get where they want.
How they defend themselves They burrow inside dirt or soil so predators, such as moles, foxes, and birds, wont be able to find them.
