We Love the World When We Compromise With the World Moral Compromise, 2 Cor. 6:17-7:1 • Social Drinking, Prov. 20:1; 23:31-32 -Growing number of Christians practicing and defending, 1 Pet. 4:3 • Dishonesty, Eph. 4:25 • Profanity, Eph. 4:29; Col. 4:6 • Immodest Clothing, 1 Tim. 2:9-10 (15) • -Not location; reflects a heart trained with shamefastness and sobriety (self-control) 4

  5. We Love the World When We Compromise With the World Doctrinal Defiance, Gal. 1:6-10 • Pride that will not admit error, 1 Jno. 2:16 • Also a part of the world, 1 Jno. 4:1, 5-6 • Comes from the god of this world, the devil, Col. 2:8, 20-22; 2 Cor. 4:1-4 5
