  4. A Starting Point • Establish functional service area and need • Recruit Initial group members • Identify Leadership

  5. Leadership Identify “Community Champion” • Builds group consensus • Sets criteria for assistance, scope and vision for LTRG • Delegates committee assignments • Sets the tone for sustainability and community resiliency • Is the Public Information Liaison

  6. Leadership Community Communication planning • Who or what organization will provide the community with LTRG activities • Recognize organizations in the committee • Monitors milestones • Keeps the community informed
