One of the most common ways people sustain a personal injury is to be involved in a car wreck. It will most likely happen to all of us at least once in our lifetime, but there are steps you can take to avoid dangerous accidents. We’ve all heard about “distracted driving” and we usually associate this with texting while operating a car or truck. Driving while distracted is one of the leading causes of car and truck wrecks in Tennessee (and nationwide), mainly because there are a great number of actions that would be categorized as “distracted driving”. Sure, texting or talking on the phone would count, but one thing you may not have thought of would be listening to headphones or earbuds while you are behind the wheel.
