IM 61 yo M • POHx • High Myope • R -9.50/-0.50 x 110 • L -9.25/-0.75 x 70 • Increasing intermittent exotropia since 1993 • Seen in 2003 • Exophoria 20Δ for distance and 30Δ for near • Fusion reserve 10Δ for distance and 40Δ for near • No fundus abnormality • No treatment/ Not keen for XT surgery

  3. IM 61 yo M • Current status: 2006 • Increase frequency of diplopia • Wearing CLs -9 OU • VAR 6/8 VAL 6/9 • Exotropia distance 25Δ, near 40Δ • Fusional range distance 16Δ, near 35Δ • L macropsia ~ 5-10% • L epiretinal membrane

  4. IM 61 yo M • Mx options • Modify spectacles lenses to compensate for aneisokonia : ineffective • Vitrectomy and ERM peel to reduce aneisokonia • Strabismus surgery for exodeviation
