Why do we have Schools? • Schools are here to enlighten us. • Schools enable students to dream and be creative. • Schools are also for students to learn to be responsible and improve as learners. • School is a place where people can gather and learn from each other. • School is a stairway • Going to school makes everyone cooperate and learn together. • It is an important place for us to learn about things you need to become independent and ready to live your life independently. • School is a place where we learn to live our lives with other people • Schools exist to make us better people.

  7. Assessing for Learning • Time in and out of class given for assessments. • Follow the writing process (brainstorm, first draft, final draft etc) • Work at home should be spread over a longer time period

  8. Assessment Policy Exception If students talk to me at least 24 hours before due date, there is a good possibility of an extension.
