Sustainable forestry and global warming!. Why do we need sustainable forestry?.
E N D
Why do we need sustainable forestry? Trees breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen, if we didn't have trees there would be more carbon dioxide in the air. There is also something around Earth called the Ozone layer which protects Earth from the Suns harmful rays. When there is too much carbon dioxide it starts to destroy the ozone layer, and then the suns harmful rays can get in to Earth, that's why we need forests and trees!!!
Global warming and climate change Global warming could destroy Earth soon! Global warming happens when there are cracks in the Ozone layer around Earth. Cracks appear in the Ozone layer when too much carbon dioxide escapes in to the air. This happens when trees are cut down and carbon dioxide escapes in to the air! • Animals can be killed by global warming
Recycling wood Recycling wood is good for the environment because if we reuse wood we wont have to cut down more trees to make the same amount of paper, also the more trees we cut down the more the amount of carbon dioxide will increase! Also did you know when trees die they automatically let off carbon dioxide but if we cut down trees just before they die they wont let off carbon dioxide!
Why do we need to replant our forests! Without our forests the amount of carbon dioxide would increase rapidly! Trees reduce the amount of carbon dioxide, but without them, global warming would be fatal! If your wondering why its because trees breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen , but when the trees breath in carbon dioxide it stays inside them so, it can't go up in to the air and harm earths Ozone layer!
