  3. Nancy Wile, E-RYT 500, Founder of Yoga Education Institute 02 I would describe myself as a yoga nerd, who loves discussing yoga philosophy, anatomy, and ways to make the yoga community a more accepting space for everyone. My teaching style follows the example of T. Krishnamacharya and his idea of tailoring a yoga practice to each student’s needs and abilities. I work with each student or trainee to help them find their own way of practising or teaching yoga and to believe in themselves in whatever they do. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and accepted in any class. I want you to come as you are, have some fun, and know that everything you need is right there inside of you. As for my other background, I have a doctorate in education from Columbia University. Along with teaching yoga, I have spent much time teaching and developing health and wellness programs. May you be well, may you be happy, and may you always live with ease. If you have any questions, pleaseemail me at info@yogaeducation.org Yoga Education

  4. Yoga Teacher Training Online Program 03 This online program is a great way to begin your journey in becoming a successful yoga teacher. 7. Narrow your vision yoga education Retreats! On-demand classes! Workshops! Conferences! There are so many things yoga teachers can offer—but you can’t do them all. “We see so many teachers try to do so many things, and a lot of those things are not in alignment with what they want to see for themselves 06

  8. Prioritize your own practice above all else 07 yoga education It is only you who can help you with your message and vision when you step onto your mat for yourself. A regular sadhana is a way to connect to the spirit every day, says Finger. It's very difficult to authentically relate your experience to others if you neglect self-study and personal practice

  9. Learn how to negotiate yoga Education “A lot of business in yoga has been between friends,” Mozes says. But business is business. Anytime you establish an agreement, sign a contract and be sure you are protecting yourself. Get everything on paper and read over every detail so you know your rights. Then negotiate if you don’t agree with any of the terms. 08

  10. Be OK with networking yoga education Thought you'd escaped corporate culture by teaching yoga? Maybe, but yoga is still about unity, isn't it? A successful yoga career depends on developing the right connections. You can grow your business by partnering with businesses that sell products, other teachers, and other professionals, as well as your students. It is important to establish a network of people and businesses you align with that can also help you become more visible. 09

  11. Live one Life Clarice Holtje, Finger's mentor, often reminds her that there is no personal, professional, or spiritual life. It is important to learn how to integrate all three parts. "I don't have to choose between being a spiritual person and a business person. We are inadvertently working on other aspects of life when we work on one." So take what you learn from one and apply it to another. It may surprise you what you discover. 10
