  3. Nancy Wile, E-RYT 500, Founder of Yoga Education Institute I would describe myself as a yoga nerd, who loves discussing yoga philosophy, anatomy, and ways to make the yoga community a more accepting space for everyone. My teaching style follows the example of T. Krishnamacharya and his idea of tailoring a yoga practice to each student’s needs and abilities. I work with each student or trainee to help them find their own way of practising or teaching yoga and to believe in themselves in whatever they do. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and accepted in any class. I want you to come as you are, have some fun, and know that everything you need is right there inside of you. As for my other background, I have a doctorate in education from Columbia University. Along with teaching yoga, I have spent much time teaching and developing health and wellness programs. May you be well, may you be happy, and may you always live with ease. If you have any questions, pleaseemail me at info@yogaeducation.org

  5. Introduction In a few months, 2022 will come to an end, and then it will be time to switch up your wellness routine. With so much noise around us and dozens of new products entering the market and social media every day, it can be a little challenging. But if there's anything we've learned, it's that extreme fads are out and scientifically based, more comprehensive, long-term solutions are in. The greatest trends in wellness experiences around the world are presented here based on what is happening in 2022 and research for 2023. Let’s check them out…

  6. Focused Fitness You may have heard the phrase “mind over body,” but what does it actually mean? The basic idea behind this concept is that you can change your habits and improve your health by focusing on improving the mind, body and spirit. Mind: Focusing on the state of mind can help with stress management, which leads to better sleep quality and improved mental clarity. This is especially important for those who struggle with anxiety or depression because these conditions often cause people to feel overwhelmed by their lives—which makes it harder for them to reach their fitness goals! Body: Exercise improves blood circulation throughout the body; this means more oxygenated blood flowing through all parts of our bodies—including joints—to reduce pain levels in areas where inflammation occurs when we exercise regularly (like during yoga classes).

  7. Social Support Structure: The second trend is social support structure. Social support can be provided by friends, family and community as well as doctors and other health care professionals. Technology also plays a role in providing social support for those who don't have access to it or prefer not to use it because of privacy concerns. Social support is important for health because it helps people cope with stressors that may be causing their problems in life. For example, if you have an illness like depression or anxiety disorder then having someone who understands what you're going through can make all the difference when trying desperately hard not only cope with symptoms but also manage them effectively enough so they don't get worse over time (or worse yet lead someone down paths toward suicide).

  8. Prevention Is Better Than Cure Prevention is better than cure. But the truth is that many people don’t realize how important prevention can be until it's too late. A lot of diseases are caused by lifestyle choices, such as smoking cigarettes or drinking too much alcohol. And some diseases have no symptoms at all—you may have just been diagnosed with one when your doctor says: “You have cancer."

  9. Virtual Healthcare Becomes the Norm: Virtual health care is the future of healthcare. It's a way for patients to receive medical treatment without having to physically visit a doctor's office, and it allows doctors to communicate with patients via video or phone calls. Virtual healthcare has been around for decades, but its popularity is growing rapidly as more people realize how much better it can be than traditional visits with their doctors.

  10. Individualized Medicine: You may have heard of personalized medicine, but if you haven't, here's a quick rundown: it's the future of healthcare. The goal is to understand our bodies better through technology and use that knowledge to provide more personalized care. It will also be easier for doctors to prescribe treatments based on an individual patient's needs, which means more accessible health services at lower costs than ever before.

  11. Functional Food as a Pill Replacement? Functional foods are a growing trend in the food and beverage industry. They're often marketed as being healthier than regular food products and can be classified as any kind of food that has a positive effect on health or wellbeing. Examples of functional foods include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds; however they don't have to be organic or free- range to qualify (although these are sometimes added). In fact there's no limit on what you could call your own "functional" ingredient!

  12. New Tech That Ensures Healthy Aging The new technologies available for people to help them stay healthy are a great way to make sure that older people can continue enjoying the benefits of their later years. Here are some examples: Medical monitoring devices that alert caregivers or family members when a patient's vital signs drop below a certain level (such as blood pressure or heart rate) Smart phone apps that track exercise, nutrition intake and other key health metrics What do you think? 13. The Rise of Alternative Therapies There is a lot of interest in studying breathing methods during guided meditation sessions in groups or even by enrolling in a private retreat with classes and workshops. In yoga, breathwork is referred to as pranayama, and it is a component of various types of meditation. The secret to good health and a long life is deep, productive breathing; the renewed emphasis on breathwork is a significant and helpful practise, supporting a relaxed state of body and mind. Our bodies perform better, our blood pressure is lower and steadier, and our cognition, perspective, and relationships are all improved. What do you think? Let us know by commenting below!
