  3. Women’s Clothing The women wore simple jewelry, fine elegant dresses, and lastly they wore mostly curls in their hair and held fans for a fancy event

  4. Men’s Clothing • The men on the Lewis & Clark Expedition wore native clothing or soldier clothing. The soldiers’ clothing were made with a strong fabric to try and make it invincible for them in the war. • The natives mostly wore leather waist belts where they held hatches, sheathed knives, and a pouches. Some also wore black leather waist belts with brass buckles kept sheathed knives handy.
