  2. Because the Lord Loves You (Deut. 7:7-8a, 13; 1:26ff; Rom. 5:6-9; Eph. 5:1-2) Because He Redeemed You from Bondage (Dt. 7:9; 9:26; Num. 11:1-5; Gal. 3:13; 4:1-5) Because God Keeps His Promises (Deut. 7:11; Josh. 21:43-45; Rom. 16:25-27) A People of God’s Own Possession (Deut. 7)

Therefore Keep God’s Commands and Be Holy (Deut. 7:6, 11; Matt. 28:20; 1 Peter 1:13-16; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Ephesians 5:3ff) Do not Fear the Enemy- God Will Deliver You (Deut. 7:17ff; Matt. 10:24ff; Rev. 2:10) Be Zealous for Good Deeds (Titus 2:11-14; Eph. 2:10; 2 Tim. 2:21) To obtain an Eternal Inheritance in Heaven (1 Peter 1:3-5; Eph. 1:7-14) A People of God’s Own Possession (Deut. 7)
