Our society is one where social comparison is commonplace; sometimes, we experience low esteem or feel hopeless because we compare ourselves to someone better than us. People compare their lives to others on social media and can sometimes develop jealousy factors.
Sometimes you may have exaggerated your problems before people, even when they are not significant or problematic. And if you do this to gain sympathy, it will not work in the long run. People might like your Facebook pictures or comment on your posts, but they do not care about your life. This leads to a loss of self- confidence and more negative behavior, indicating low self-esteem.

People often say that they cannot do something or aren’t good at something. This is what we experience most often in our daily lives. It sometimes limits our abilities to accomplish things, and without being able to explore our potential, we get demotivated easily.
