Optimizing Parcel Preparation & Entry for Seamless Acceptance ISSUE STATEMENT: In support of the Postal Service vision for: • seamless acceptance and the expansion of electronic documentation, • payment solutions, and • distribution network rationalization, … there is a need to understand the end game. Explore how to optimize parcel preparation/entry and how it effects the industry.

  3. Optimizing Parcel Preparation & Entry for Seamless Acceptance This workgroup will be charged with identifying: • Approaches to optimize parcel preparation and entry to minimize end-to-end costs and fully leverage available workshare discounts as the processing and distribution network is rationalized. • Automated approaches for notifying customers of changes to preparation requirements. • Approaches to expand electronic verification and postage payment for all parcel-shaped products.
