Medtech Sentiment Q3 2014 Currently; • 42% are more confidence in their business than they did three months ago • 55% remain equally confident. Next three months; • 47% expect to hire new staff • 34% expect to increase investment in R&D • 76% expect an increase in productivity • 66% of companies expect an increase in their order books IMDA Strategy • 79% said mentoring indigenous medtech start-up companies is beneficial • 68% said sharing best practice in Operational Excellence is beneficial • 71% said undertaking collaborative research is beneficial
