Target groups: employees of governmental institutions, municipalities and management of protected landscape areas and national parks.

AINova and e-learning EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND / SOP Human Resources, Priority 3 (2005-2008) Title: Methodology of Flexible Learning – a Systematic Solution for Life-Long Learning The main objective of the project is to widen the offer of life-long learning courses with new innovative forms of e-learning courses. The courses developed during the project: Methodology of flexible learning, European integration, Environmental protection & Environmental education are targeted especially at teachers of formal education, lecturers of life-long learning and also university graduates.

E-learning methodology Learning Management System - a system that tracks, launches, and generally provides the interface between the user and individual learning objects (an individual element of learning). At a simplistic level, Learning Management System (LMS) generally contains access to a range of Learning Objects. The LMS communicates with the learning objects as they run, and keep a track of learning objects studies, passed and failed. The LMS can then be used to see at a glance how a user or group of users has progressed through the training.
E-learning platform in AINova • - tailored made e-learning portal • Advantages: • Design • Simplicity • Well arranged • Several communication tools Disadvantages: - System doesn’t use the standardize format of content • Format of the content is not compatible with other e-learning platforms or software (Moodle) • The content is not easy to manage or edit by users – tutors and study materials developers • The technical administrator is necessary • LMS doesn’t have tool for design of evaluation test for students
Blended learning • the combination of on-line courses with contact seminars What increase the students’ motivation: • chance to meet and know each other • chance to communicate (messenger, discussion forum, chat) • tutoring – communication with students on regular base, encouragement to study
