Exams • Three “regular exams” – the lowest grade is dropped • Final is partially comprehensive and cannot be dropped • Makeups are all essay • You have to call before the exam • You have to take it within 2 business days • You have the option of dropping it
Exam Format 24 Multiple Choice 13 Matching 13 T/F 15 Fill in the bland 70 points of short answer/essay (5-10 pts. Each) @ 12-14 questions The final will be partially comprehensive
Exam Dates • Exam 1 – 6 Oct. • Exam 2 – 27 Oct. • Exam 3 – 17 Nov. • Final – 8 Dec.
Lab • Always come to lab prepared to do the work for safety, efficiency, and fairness to your lab partner • We will work with pathogenic microbes and dangerous chemicals so aseptic technique is required • No eating or drinking in lab • Always clean up and dispose of materials properly
