<h1>Welcome!</h1>

<p>I am a professor in the <a href="http://www.plattsburgh.edu/academics/psychology/">Psychology Department</a> at <a href="http://www.plattsburgh.edu">Plattsburgh State University</a> in Plattsburgh, NY. I obtained my B.A. in Psychology from <a href="http://www.hope.edu">Hope College</a>, with a minor in Math. I earned my Ph.D. in Cognitive and Biological Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience, working in the <a href="http://vision.psych.umn.edu/">Vision Research Labs</a> at the <a href="http://www.umn.edu">University of Minnesota</a>. I have been teaching at SUNY Plattsburgh since the fall of 1999.</p>

<p>My interests are in the areas of perception and cognition. I teach courses in experimental design, cognition, memory, and perception. My research investigates visual perception, memory, and cognition. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband <a href="http://faculty.plattsburgh.edu/steve.mansfield">Steve</a> and our family. </p>
