  2. Why I chose west bend • I chose West Bend because a lot of people would think West Bend is just some old ghost town where you have nothing to do but be bored at, and I disagree.

  3. Why should you live there? • West Bend is small, but has many stores or shops for you to work at, like Country Maid, or if you would prefer a quieter place, you could work at the library. • West Bend has both John Deere, and Case IH dealerships, so if your planning on farming, you don’t have to go far to seek your new tractor or combine. • If your old car’s motor is rusting, you can just take a drive right down town to the West Bend Ford dealership.

  4. More reasons… • If your pet is sick or needs a shot, West Bend has it’s own veterinary clinic right on main street. • If you have some cattle that are ready to go into the locker, you can just drive them up to Skoglund meat and locker in West Bend. • Don’t want to cook tonight? Go down to main street and get to the Wagon Wheel.

  7. about west bend • West Bend’s original name was “Ives.” • West Bend’s population is about 779 people. • West Bend is home to the Grotto of the Redemption.

  8. the grotto of the redemption • The Grotto of the Redemption was made by Father Dobberstein. He started to make the grotto after he became very ill and he promised God that if he lived he would build a shrine in his honor. After he got better he started to collect stones from all over to build the grotto with.
