OWU Mission OWU is an organization dedicated to providing women and families with the education and the excitement of the outdoor experience through teaching outdoor life skills, sharing the knowledge of our natural resources, while building self esteem, strengthening individual character, and promoting self-reliance in a safe and professional environment.

OWU History Founded in 2005 by Rebecca Wood and Whitney Wood Created to offer women and families an opportunity to learn and excel in a variety of outdoor activities Worked with various non profit and profit outdoor programs, organizations, and companies to grow and enhance the opportunities for OWU members

OWU History Outdoor Women Unlimited is unique by: · providing hands on professional instruction with opportunity for advancement; · minimizing event costs to increase membership participation; · establishing a scholarship program for women; introducing outdoor events that encourage family participation; · and providing accommodations and equipment for a safe outdoor environment.
